Burn Outs

Last post, I talked about the feeling that I've burnt out on Path of Exile. To me, it's a feeling that I've become all too familiar with and has a very specific trajectory. I think that people normally start feeling burnt out when they bore of a game. Maybe it starts feeling too easy or maybe it's because you've played the game so many times that the content no longer interests you. I've felt that about many games over the years as well but I tend to take it a step further before calling it a lost cause. First thing to know is that I tend to enjoy looters more than other titles. Long story short, I didn't. I ran about 244 maps in two days and decided that was enough PoE for the rest of the league. So on the first day, I made quite a large haul. Yeah, I made a spreadsheet. I tallied up all the currency drops I received over the course of a hundred maps on the first day on the box to the right to determine what my total drops were(misleadingly l...
